Program Lead – Dublin

Our client, a leading bank in Ireland, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager to work in Dublin, Ireland.

What you are expected to have:

Program & Project Management

  • Strong experience managing large, complex, crossโ€‘functional programs
  • Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, etc.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Strong problemโ€‘solving and decisionโ€‘making capabilities
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and fastโ€‘changing priorities

Business & Analytical Skills

  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actions
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and benefit realization

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • MBA or relevant certifications preferred (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PRINCE2)

What you will do:

Program Strategy & Governance

  • Own the overall program vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy
  • Translate business goals into executable program plans
  • Establish program governance, cadence, and reporting mechanisms
  • Ensure alignment with organizational priorities and KPIs

Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee multiple interdependent projects within the program
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues across workstreams
  • Ensure delivery against timelines, budget, and quality benchmarks
  • Drive decisionโ€‘making and unblock escalations proactively

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership
  • Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes clearly and regularly
  • Facilitate alignment across business, technology, and operations teams
  • Influence without authority to drive shared ownership

Financial & Risk Management

  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate programโ€‘level risks
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor project managers and workstream leads
  • Promote best practices in program and project management
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
