Our client, a leading bank in Ireland is looking for highly motivated and experienced personnel for Database Source Code Management SME to work in Dublin, Ireland.

What you are expected to have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Source Code Management SME with expertise in Python, Git/Bitbucket, and Oracle and/or SQL Server DBA.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL development or management and hands-on experience with DDL/DML change management tools like TOAD, Redgate Flyway, and Liquibase.
- Proven experience in enterprise-level database code management, including Oracle DDL/DML management, integration with source control systems (Git), handling parallel development streams within the same repository, managing multiple repositories, implementing automated delivery, and defining effective branching strategies.
- Ability to collaborate with Development, CI/CD, and Database teams while establishing frameworks, source code management controls, and standards.
- Strong understanding of UNIX platforms for Oracle, and Windows for SQL Server, and experience in managing database change across parallel development and production support teams.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a proactive mindset.
- Preferred skills include Bitbucket automation, Ansible, AWS/Azure experience with relevant certifications, Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket), Unix/Windows O/S administration, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and data governance using masking tools.
What you will do:
- Lead the implementation and management of database source code repositories while controlling DDL/DML changes across parallel development and production support teams.
- Integrate database code management with Git/Bitbucket, automate delivery processes, and enforce best practices for branching strategies.
- Collaborate with Development, CI/CD, and Database teams to ensure efficient workflows, compliance, and governance.
- Establish and maintain source code management frameworks, controls, and standards to optimize database change management and operational efficiency.
