The Client:
Our client, a leading companies in UK, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tagetik Test Lead to work in Horsham, Liverpool or London location in UK.
What You’ll Love:

What you are expected to have:
- 10+ years of overall testing/QA experience, with strong hands-on exposure to CCH Tagetik testing
- Experience testing EPM / CPM solutions
Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Financial Consolidation, FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting process
- Knowledge of financial controls, audit requirements, and close cycles
Technical & Testing Skills
- Test case design, defect management, SIT/UAT coordination
- Data validation using SQL / data extracts
- Familiarity with automation tools and performance testing is an advantage
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Ability to work in Agile / iterative delivery models
What you will do:
Test Strategy & Planning
- Define and own the test strategy, test plans, and testing approach for Tagetik implementations and enhancements (SIT, UAT, regression, patch validation)
- Review functional and technical design documents to ensure testability and coverage
Functional & Data Testing
- Validate financial logic, consolidations, allocations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and journals in Tagetik
- Perform data reconciliation and variance analysis between source systems, Tagetik, and downstream reports
- Ensure accuracy of Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting outputs against business rules
Test Execution & Defect Management
- Design and execute detailed functional test cases, negative scenarios, and regression suite
- Log, track, and manage defects end-to-end using defect management tools; work with developers to ensure timely resolution
UAT Coordination
- Lead and support UAT cycles, including test walkthroughs, defect triage calls, and business signoffs
- Prepare UAT status reports, test metrics, and sign-off documentation for leadership and stakeholders
Automation & Continuous Improvement (Optional but Preferred)
- Identify opportunities for test automation, regression optimisation, and reusable test assets in Tagetik environments
- Contribute to improvements in QA processes, templates, and testing standards across projects
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as QA/Test Lead on Tagetik engagements, mentoring junior testers and coordinating offshore/onshore QA teams Collaborate with Finance SMEs, Functional Consultants, and Integration teams for issue resolution and release readiness
