The Client:
Our client, a leading companies in USA, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Architect to work in the USA location.
What You’ll Love:
- This role is part of a long-term strategic project within the Bank, so this is an opportunity to work for the top bank in the country on a Permanent / Rolling Contract basis.
- The role offers a Competitive Day Rate and Hybrid working option is available.
What you are expected to have:
- 8–14 years of overall experience with relevant domain expertise.
- Experience architecting large-scale data platforms on AWS or Azure, snowflake, databricks.
- Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
- Deep knowledge of lake/lakehouse/warehouse architectures.
- Governance experience: cataloging, lineage, PII/PHI protection.
- Ability to create reference architecture and best practices.
- Experience with cost and performance optimization.
Good-to-Have
- Databricks or Snowflake architecture experience.
- Streaming architecture exposure (Kafka/Event Hub/Kinesis).
- MDM and Data Mesh concepts.
- IaC using Terraform/Bicep.
- Compliance frameworks (GDPR/HIPAA/PCI).
What you will do:
- Define target data architecture and modernization roadmap.
- Select cloud services and design ingestion/processing/storage patterns.
- Define governance, lineage, metadata, and security frameworks.
- Review cost, performance, and reliability across workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams.
- Author architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
